Issey Miyake is Japanese designer known in the fashion world as the one who introduced the use of heat press to create permanent pleats. Miyake designs have always been association with fun and creativity, and this has extended to his perfume collection. The first Miyake perfume was launched in 1992 and was named L’eau d’Issey, a homonym of Odyssey. This was followed by another fragrance called A-POC, read similar to “epoch” in English. For those who want to get a glimpse of the entire line of this amusing designer, Miyake perfume is available in a store in Japan called ELLTOB TEP. That’s “pet bottle” spelled backwards.
